Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and timely.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues to ensure full compliance with current tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding tax filings, audits, and financial inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting schedules for tax purposes.
- Collaborate with the audit team during year-end reviews and tax planning sessions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax regulations and industry best practices.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation required.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting is preferred.
- CPA, EA, or MBA candidate preferred.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, Drake, TaxSlayer) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
