Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual (1040) and business (1120, 1065) tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate complex tax concepts to clients in a clear and professional manner.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and supporting workpapers.
- Participate in year-end tax planning and audit support activities.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax law changes and industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- CPA or EA certification preferred; strong candidates with relevant experience will also be considered.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation or public accounting.
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte, UltraTax) is highly desirable.
- Strong analytical skills and a keen eye for detail.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
