Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with a high degree of accuracy.
- Conduct tax research to ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes related to tax provisions.
- Communicate complex tax concepts clearly to clients and team members.
- Collaborate with senior staff to manage year-end audits and tax planning strategies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client financial data.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Strong proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., ProSystem fx Tax, Lacerte).
- CPA or EA certification is a plus but not required for this role.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a high-volume environment.
