Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex tax cases
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, CCH Axcess) for efficient processing
- Review financial documents for accuracy and completeness
- Communicate with clients to address tax-related inquiries
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (internships accepted)
- Active CPA license or progress toward CPA certification
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and tax preparation software
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
