Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice on deductions and credits
- Manage IRS audits and tax controversies with senior guidance
- Utilize ProSystem fx, CCH, and Lacerte tax software for efficient processing
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure tax compliance across financial statements
- Develop tax planning strategies to minimize client liabilities
- Maintain client relationships through proactive communication and quarterly reviews
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA/Masters preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Advanced knowledge of IRS regulations and Pennsylvania tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH, or Lacerte)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- EITC certification or willingness to obtain within 6 months
