Responsibilities
- Prepare individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns accurately and in a timely manner.
- Conduct research on complex tax issues and interpret tax laws to ensure compliance.
- Review financial documents, such as W-2s, 1099s, and financial statements, for accuracy.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary information and explain tax concepts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax planning strategies.
- Ensure all filing deadlines are met and maintain organized client records.
- Collaborate with the team to improve internal processes and client service.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines, especially during tax season.
- Professional demeanor and a strong customer service orientation.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
