Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns with precision
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic tax planning advice to clients
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Collaborate with audit and consulting teams on complex tax engagements
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations
- Maintain accurate documentation in tax preparation software
- Participate in continuous training to stay current with tax law changes
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA or Enrolled Agent preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, or CCH Axcess)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active Arizona CPA license or willingness to obtain immediately
- Experience with IRS correspondence and audit support
