Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual and corporate income tax returns for accuracy and compliance.
- Conduct thorough research on tax laws and regulations to ensure clients receive maximum tax benefits.
- Communicate with clients and tax authorities to resolve inquiries and file necessary documents.
- Assist senior tax professionals with complex tax planning and audit support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client files and documentation using cloud-based tax software.
- Participate in continuous training to stay current with changing tax codes and industry standards.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in tax preparation (CPA preferred but not required for entry-level associates).
- Proficiency in tax preparation software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries, Drake).
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with the team.
- Valid driver’s license (required for potential vehicle provision).
