Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide compliance guidance
- Utilize our provided tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient document processing
- Collaborate with senior associates to resolve complex tax issues
- Perform tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Maintain accurate client records in our CRM system
- Stay updated on tax legislation changes through our provided resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA/EA candidates preferred)
- Proficiency with tax software (Lacerte, ProSystem fx, or CCH Axcess)
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Valid Florida CPA license or actively pursuing EA certification
