Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation of individual and business tax returns (1099, W-2, Schedule C) under the guidance of senior staff.
- Conduct research and review financial documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with current tax laws.
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary documentation and answer routine inquiries regarding their accounts.
- Perform data entry and reconciliation of financial records using industry-standard tax software.
- Attend training sessions to enhance tax knowledge and stay updated on regulatory changes.
- Support the tax team with year-end processing and general office administrative tasks.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is preferred, but not strictly required.
- Experience: No prior tax experience is necessary; we provide full training.
- Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is a plus).
