Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns using industry software
- Review financial documents for accuracy and compliance with tax regulations
- Communicate with clients to gather necessary tax information and documentation
- Assist senior tax professionals in research and resolution of complex tax issues
- Maintain organized digital and physical client records in accordance with firm standards
- Participate in ongoing training to stay current with tax law changes and software updates
- Contribute to team efficiency through cross-departmental collaboration and process improvement
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
- No prior tax experience required - we provide comprehensive onboarding training
- Strong basic math skills and attention to detail with numerical data
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for client meetings (if required)
