Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local income tax returns for individuals and C-Corporations.
- Conduct thorough research on complex tax issues and interpret applicable tax laws.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve discrepancies.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and footnotes for audit purposes.
- Stay current with changing tax regulations and implement necessary procedural updates.
- Participate in the year-end close process and tax planning strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- CPA certification or completion of 150 credit hours is a strong plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in public accounting or corporate tax environment preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, with advanced functions.
- Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
