Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, partnership, and corporate federal and state income tax returns with accuracy and efficiency.
- Conduct tax research to ensure full compliance with current tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate professionally with clients to gather necessary documentation and resolve tax inquiries.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax projections for audit purposes.
- Manage multiple client files simultaneously while meeting strict deadlines during tax season.
- Collaborate with senior team members to implement process improvements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation.
- Current CPA, EA, or MST certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong understanding of U.S. tax codes and accounting principles.
- Proficiency in tax software such as Drake, CCH ProSystem fx, or UltraTax.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
