Responsibilities

- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with current tax laws and regulations
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies to minimize liabilities
- Review financial documents and identify potential deductions or credits
- Collaborate with senior staff on complex tax cases and audits
- Maintain accurate client records using tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSeries)
- Stay updated on tax legislation changes and communicate impacts to clients
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in tax software and MS Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication skills for client interactions
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Active CPA license or eligibility to sit for exam
- Florida residency preferred
