Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping for 15-20 client portfolios using QuickBooks Online
- Prepare monthly financial statements and variance analysis for executive leadership
- Coordinate with auditors during quarterly and annual reviews
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable processes and cash flow management
- Implement and maintain internal controls for financial compliance
- Lead month-end closing procedures with reconciliation accuracy
- Mentor junior bookkeepers on accounting best practices
Qualifications
- 5+ years of bookkeeping experience with SaaS or tech industry clients
- Expert proficiency in QuickBooks Online and Excel (advanced functions)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- Proven experience with multi-entity accounting structures
- Strong understanding of GAAP and California tax regulations
- Exceptional attention to detail with 99.9% reconciliation accuracy
- Ability to manage deadlines in fast-paced startup environments
- Experience with Xero and Bill.com platforms
