Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and corporate tax returns in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic advice to minimize tax liabilities
- Manage client relationships and respond to IRS/state inquiries
- Utilize tax software (ProSeries, Lacerte) for accurate document processing
- Collaborate with senior team members on complex tax planning strategies
- Stay updated on evolving tax legislation and industry best practices
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA or EA candidates preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and client service abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Valid Texas CPA license or active EA certification
