Responsibilities
- Prepare and review individual, corporate, and partnership tax returns in compliance with federal/state regulations
- Conduct tax research and provide advisory services on complex tax matters
- Develop and implement tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and issue resolution
- Collaborate with audit and consulting teams on integrated financial solutions
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and ensure adherence to firm quality standards
- Utilize tax software (e.g., ProSystem fx, Lacerte) for efficient processing
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA certification preferred
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting or similar environment
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
