Responsibilities

- Conduct tax research and analyze complex tax regulations to ensure compliance
- Assist clients with tax planning strategies and optimization opportunities
- Collaborate with audit teams to resolve tax-related discrepancies
- Maintain accurate client records using tax preparation software
- Support IRS audit responses and documentation requests
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 1-3 years of tax preparation experience (CPA track preferred)
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., ProSystem, CCH, Lacerte)
- Strong understanding of federal and California tax regulations
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- CPA license or active pursuit required
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced client-facing environments
