Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end payroll processing for multi-state employees
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
- Reconcile payroll accounts and resolve discrepancies
- Oversee tax filings and year-end reporting (W-2, 1099)
- Implement and optimize payroll software systems
- Collaborate with HR on employee compensation matters
- Lead payroll audits and process improvements
Qualifications
- 5+ years of payroll processing experience
- Advanced knowledge of multi-state tax laws
- Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now or similar platforms
- CPP (Certified Payroll Professional) certification preferred
- Expertise in Excel and payroll reporting tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
