Responsibilities
- Process multi-state payroll for 500+ employees using ADP Workforce Now
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations (Form 941, 940, W-2)
- Manage garnishments, deductions, and benefit enrollments with 100% accuracy
- Conduct payroll audits and resolve discrepancies within 24 hours
- Lead quarterly tax filings and year-end reconciliations
- Train and mentor junior payroll staff on system updates
- Collaborate with HR on timekeeping system integrations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance or equivalent experience
- 5+ years in multi-state payroll processing
- ADP Workforce Now certification required
- Expert knowledge of FLSA, ACA, and garnishment laws
- Advanced Excel skills (VLOOKUP, PivotTables) and HRIS proficiency
- Proven track record of 99.9% payroll accuracy
- CPP certification preferred
- Experience with DOL audits and compliance reporting
