Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive credit risk assessments for commercial and individual clients
- Prepare detailed credit analysis reports and financial models using Excel and specialized software
- Monitor industry trends and regulatory changes affecting credit policies
- Collaborate with loan officers to structure optimal credit solutions
- Identify risk mitigation strategies and recommend approval/decline decisions
- Present findings to credit committees with clear, data-driven recommendations
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with federal regulations
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
- 3+ years of credit analysis or commercial lending experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel (VLOOKUP, pivot tables, financial modeling)
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB, or equivalent) preferred
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
