Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving IRS regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client financial outcomes
- Collaborate with audit teams on multi-disciplinary engagements
- Maintain accurate client documentation in secure digital systems
- Present complex tax concepts clearly to non-financial stakeholders
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience in public accounting
- Proficiency in Lacerte, ProSystem fx, or comparable tax software
- Deep understanding of IRS Circular 230 and tax ethics
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
