Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze complex individual, partnership, and corporate tax returns
- Conduct tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage IRS/state tax audits and compliance documentation
- Utilize ProSystem fx and Lacerte for efficient tax processing
- Provide responsive client communication through scheduled check-ins
- Maintain accurate tax research using CCH and Wolters Kluwer resources
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on multi-state filings
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with 2+ years tax preparation experience
- Active CPA license or CPA candidacy with 120 credits
- Proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte) required
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and Massachusetts tax codes
- Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage deadlines with flexible scheduling
- Effective communication skills for client interactions
