Responsibilities
- Prepare and file individual and corporate income tax returns accurately and timely.
- Conduct thorough tax research to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
- Communicate effectively with clients to gather necessary documentation and explain complex tax concepts.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and tax projections.
- Collaborate with senior tax staff on complex tax planning strategies.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of all client financial data and sensitive information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Previous experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
