Responsibilities
- Prepare and review complex federal, state, and local tax returns for individuals and businesses
- Conduct tax research and ensure compliance with evolving regulations
- Develop tax planning strategies to optimize client outcomes
- Manage client relationships through clear communication and proactive consultations
- Utilize tax software (ProSystem fx, CCH) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with senior advisors on multi-disciplinary engagements
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance with CPA license or active pursuit
- 2+ years of public accounting tax preparation experience
- Expert knowledge of IRS regulations and Oregon tax codes
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
