Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for corporate and individual clients
- Conduct tax research and planning to optimize client outcomes
- Perform tax audits and IRS correspondence reviews
- Develop client relationships through proactive tax consultations
- Maintain accurate tax documentation and compliance records
- Collaborate with senior tax professionals on complex cases
- Utilize tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) efficiently
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 2+ years of tax preparation experience (CPA preferred)
- Active CPA license or significant progress toward certification
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client service skills
- Knowledge of IRS regulations and Nevada tax codes
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment
