Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a comprehensive 2026 strategic foresight framework using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into product roadmaps and corporate strategy
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptors and innovation opportunities in AI, biotech, and climate tech
- Produce high-impact reports and presentations for executive stakeholders and board members
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and think tanks to pioneer emerging research
- Mentor junior futurists and build a dedicated foresight practice within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership roles
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Management, or related field preferred
- Experience publishing thought leadership in futurism or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful strategic implementations based on future insights
