Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and professionally as they enter the branch, ensuring a welcoming environment.
- Process daily financial transactions including cash deposits, withdrawals, check cashing, and loan payments with precision and accuracy.
- Handle cash drawers and vaults with strict adherence to security protocols and audit requirements.
- Cross-sell bank products and services such as savings accounts, CDs, and credit cards to meet branch goals.
- Resolve customer inquiries and resolve account issues efficiently while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the teller line and customer service areas.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required; previous banking or cash handling experience is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact with diverse clientele.
- Basic math skills and the ability to perform accurate calculations quickly under pressure.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks on a computer terminal.
- Flexibility to work a schedule that includes weekends and holidays.
- Must be detail-oriented and possess a high level of integrity and trustworthiness.
