As our Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial health of our operations. You will be responsible for accurate financial reporting, accounts payable/receivable management, and ensuring compliance with GAAP standards.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily general ledger entries and ensure accuracy in financial data.
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions efficiently.
- Prepare monthly financial statements and reconcile bank statements.
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial regulations.
- Collaborate with management to provide financial insights and recommendations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required.
- 2+ years of experience in general accounting or a similar role.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong understanding of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
