Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle accounting operations including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare accurate financial statements and management reports while ensuring compliance with GAAP standards
- Conduct bank reconciliations, journal entries, and variance analysis to ensure financial integrity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting processes and financial forecasting
- Implement and optimize accounting systems to enhance operational efficiency
- Assist in external audit preparation and provide documentation support
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of progressive accounting experience in public/private sectors
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, Excel (advanced functions), and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls
- Exceptional attention to detail with analytical problem-solving skills
