- Execute full-cycle accounting processes including accounts payable/receivable, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close procedures
- Prepare and analyze financial statements with emphasis on accuracy and compliance with GAAP standards
- Manage bank reconciliations, expense reports, and payroll processing with weekly payment cycles
- Collaborate with audit teams during quarterly reviews and annual examinations
- Implement process improvements to enhance financial reporting efficiency
- Maintain organized digital filing systems for all financial documentation
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/MBA preferred)
- 3+ years of hands-on accounting experience with full-cycle responsibilities
- Proficiency in QuickBooks, SAP, and advanced Excel functions (VLOOKUP, PivotTables)
- Demonstrated knowledge of Illinois tax regulations and compliance requirements
