Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including balance sheets and profit & loss statements.
- Assist with the month-end and year-end close processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements, and general ledger accounts.
- Support the preparation of tax filings and internal audits as required.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve reporting processes and internal controls.
- Process payroll data and ensure accurate time tracking for staff.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in general accounting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero) and Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
- Excellent analytical skills with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or CPA candidate is a plus.
