Responsibilities

  • Manage and maintain the general ledger, ensuring accuracy and timely reconciliation of accounts.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with GAAP.
  • Assist in the month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts to identify discrepancies and resolve issues.
  • Support the annual external audit process by providing requested documentation and schedules.
  • Collaborate with department heads to budget and forecast financial performance.
  • Assist with tax preparation and compliance filings as required.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required; CPA or CMA certification is a plus.
  • 2+ years of experience in general accounting, financial reporting, or a related role.
  • Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or Sage) and MS Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP).
  • Strong understanding of US GAAP accounting principles and financial regulations.
