Responsibilities
- Manage daily accounts payable and receivable processes with high accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile bank statements and general ledger accounts monthly to ensure data integrity.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and variance analysis.
- Ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local tax laws and accounting regulations.
- Prepare and analyze financial data to support strategic decision-making by management.
- Assist in the annual audit process and coordinate with external auditors as needed.
- Process payroll adjustments and maintain accurate employee payroll records.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
- 2-5 years of progressive experience in accounting or finance preferred.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage) and MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables).
- Strong understanding of GAAP and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CPA certification is a plus but not required.
