Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements with GAAP compliance
- Manage general ledger operations and month-end closing processes
- Oversee accounts payable/receivable and cash flow optimization
- Conduct variance analysis and budget vs. actual reporting
- Coordinate external audits and tax compliance documentation
- Implement process improvements for financial systems
- Maintain internal controls and SOX compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 4+ years of public/private accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in QuickBooks and Excel (VBA a plus)
- Deep understanding of multi-state tax regulations
- Proven experience with ERP systems (SAP/Oracle)
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
