Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements for diverse client portfolios
- Manage accounts payable/receivable and bank reconciliations
- Process bi-weekly payroll with timely weekly disbursements
- Conduct audits to ensure compliance with GAAP and tax regulations
- Develop financial forecasting models and variance analysis reports
- Collaborate with senior accountants on month-end closing procedures
- Maintain accurate client financial records in QuickBooks Online
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA preferred)
- 3+ years of public or corporate accounting experience
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks Online
- Strong understanding of Maryland tax regulations
- Proven ability to meet weekly payroll deadlines
- Certification in QuickBooks Online or similar software
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
