Responsibilities
- Process and maintain accurate payroll records for all employees on a bi-weekly basis.
- Calculate net pay, taxes, deductions, and benefits accurately.
- Ensure strict compliance with FLSA, FICA, and NJ state payroll laws.
- Reconcile payroll accounts and prepare month-end financial reports.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from staff and management in a timely manner.
- Assist in the administration of payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or similar).
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency with payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or Ceridian).
- Strong knowledge of federal and state tax laws and regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance preferred.
