In this role, you will manage the end-to-end payroll process, ensuring timely and accurate compensation for all employees while maintaining strict adherence to federal and state regulations. You will be the guardian of our payroll data, ensuring compliance and employee satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Process weekly and monthly payroll using ADP or similar systems.
- Ensure accurate calculation of wages, taxes, and deductions.
- Prepare and file state and federal payroll tax returns.
- Address payroll-related employee inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Conduct regular audits of payroll records for compliance.
- Collaborate with HR to update employee data and compensation structures.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Proficiency in payroll software (ADP, Paychex, or QuickBooks).
- Strong knowledge of FLSA, ERISA, and state tax laws.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and HRIS systems.
- Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
