Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end weekend accounting cycles including month-end closures and reconciliations
- Process high-volume weekend payroll transactions with precision and timeliness
- Prepare and analyze weekend financial reports for executive review
- Oversee weekend accounts payable/receivable operations and vendor communications
- Ensure weekend compliance with UK GAAP and HMRC regulations
- Collaborate with weekday team for seamless financial continuity
- Implement weekend process improvements to enhance efficiency
Qualifications
- ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with 5+ years' accounting experience
- Proven weekend shift or flexible scheduling availability
- Advanced proficiency in Xero, QuickBooks, and SAP
- Expertise in UK payroll processing and VAT compliance
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication skills for cross-departmental collaboration
- Experience managing high-volume transactional processing
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
