Responsibilities

  • Prepare and review complex individual, partnership, and corporate income tax returns (Forms 1040, 1065, 1120) for a diverse client base.
  • Conduct in-depth tax research to ensure full compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
  • Develop and implement proactive tax planning strategies to minimize liability and maximize client savings.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients through exceptional communication and service.
  • Lead and mentor junior staff associates, reviewing their work for accuracy and technical correctness.
  • Attend client meetings to discuss financial status and present tax findings clearly and professionally.
  • Stay updated on changes in tax laws and industry best practices to provide accurate guidance.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years of progressive experience in public accounting or corporate tax departments.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong technical knowledge of U.S. tax code, including individual, corporate, and partnership taxation.
