Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and provide compliance guidance on IRS regulations
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and tax planning consultations
- Utilize provided tax software (CCH ProSystem fx, Lacerte) to optimize tax strategies
- Lead junior associates in tax preparation projects and quality reviews
- Stay updated on tax law changes through continuous training using provided resources
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of tax preparation experience with Big 4 or mid-sized firm
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite (equipment provided)
- Strong knowledge of IRS regulations and state tax codes
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license required
- Exceptional communication skills for client interactions
