Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for diverse client portfolios
- Conduct tax research and compliance reviews utilizing authoritative tax databases
- Develop proactive tax planning strategies for corporate and individual clients
- Lead client consultations to deliver actionable tax optimization recommendations
- Mentor junior associates on emerging tax legislation and software proficiency
- Collaborate cross-functionally with audit and advisory teams on integrated solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Taxation (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years progressive tax experience in public accounting or corporate tax
- Deep expertise in US tax code, IRS procedures, and state-specific regulations
- Proficient in tax software (ProSystem, Lacerte, or CCH) and Microsoft Office Suite
