Responsibilities
- Analyze Financial Data: Review and evaluate loan applications, financial statements, and credit reports to determine creditworthiness.
- Risk Assessment: Develop and implement credit scoring models and risk mitigation strategies.
- Compliance: Ensure all credit decisions comply with internal policies and regulatory standards.
- Reporting: Prepare comprehensive credit analysis reports and presentations for senior management.
- Client Interaction: Communicate credit decisions and terms clearly to clients and internal stakeholders.
- Monitoring: Continuously monitor accounts for early signs of financial distress.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in credit analysis, risk management, or commercial banking.
- Skills: Proficiency in financial modeling, Excel (advanced functions), and SQL.
- Attention to Detail: Exceptional analytical skills with the ability to spot trends and anomalies in data.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Certifications: CFA, CPA, or credit industry certifications are a plus.
