Responsibilities
- Analyze financial statements, cash flows, and industry trends to evaluate credit risk
- Prepare detailed credit memos and risk assessments for loan committees
- Monitor existing portfolios and identify early warning signals
- Collaborate with commercial lenders to structure competitive loan packages
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with banking partners and clients
- Contribute to continuous improvement of credit processes and tools
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration
- 3+ years of commercial credit analysis experience
- Proficiency in credit underwriting software (e.g., Moody's Analytics, S&P Capital IQ)
- Strong understanding of GAAP and financial statement analysis
- Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Credit certification (CRCM, CMB) preferred
- Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication skills for presenting complex financial data
