Responsibilities
- Prepare and file complex federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
- Conduct thorough tax research and provide strategic guidance on emerging tax legislation
- Lead client consultations to optimize tax positions and ensure compliance
- Mentor junior associates while maintaining 100% accuracy in deliverables
- Utilize ProSystem fx® and Lacerte® software for efficient processing
- Collaborate with audit teams to ensure seamless financial reporting
- Develop proactive tax planning strategies for diverse client portfolios
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public tax experience with Big 4 or regional firm
- Expertise in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
- Proficiency in tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail
- Active CPA license or progress toward certification
- Excellent communication and client management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in fast-paced environment
