Responsibilities
- Prepare and file federal, state, and local tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
- Conduct in-depth tax research and analysis to optimize client outcomes
- Lead tax compliance engagements while ensuring adherence to IRS regulations
- Develop strategic tax planning solutions for diverse business structures
- Mentor junior associates and manage client relationships
- Utilize advanced tax software (e.g., Lacerte, ProSystem fx) for efficient processing
- Collaborate with audit and advisory teams for integrated client solutions
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Deep expertise in individual, corporate, and partnership taxation
- Strong technical proficiency in tax preparation software and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional communication and client management skills
- Active CPA license (required)
- Proven track record of meeting deadlines in fast-paced environments
