Responsibilities
- Perform daily bookkeeping duties including accurate data entry and account reconciliation.
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports, trial balances, and general ledgers.
- Process and categorize invoices to manage accounts payable and receivable.
- Support the team with bank statement reconciliations and expense tracking.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage) to maintain financial records under supervision.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding basic financial inquiries and documentation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree in Accounting preferred.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
