Responsibilities
- Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including data entry and reconciliations.
- Process accounts payable and receivable invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Reconcile bank statements and credit card accounts monthly.
- Utilize accounting software (QuickBooks, Xero, or FreshBooks) to maintain financial records.
- Support the month-end close process and prepare basic financial reports.
- Organize and file physical and digital financial documents.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree in Accounting or Finance is a plus.
- No prior professional bookkeeping experience is required; we train the right people.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in number crunching.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
