Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for corporations, partnerships, and high-net-worth individuals
- Conduct tax research and provide strategic recommendations on complex tax matters
- Manage client relationships through proactive communication and exceptional service delivery
- Lead tax compliance projects and ensure adherence to IRS regulations and deadlines
- Collaborate with senior partners to develop tax planning strategies for business clients
- Mentor junior associates and contribute to process improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (CPA/Master's preferred)
- 3+ years of public accounting or corporate tax experience
- Deep knowledge of US tax code, IRS regulations, and state tax requirements
- Proficiency in tax software (e.g., UltraTax, ProSystem fx, Lacerte)
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines
