Responsibilities
- Prepare and review federal, state, and international tax returns for high-net-worth individuals and corporate clients
- Develop innovative tax strategies optimizing deductions and credits while ensuring regulatory compliance
- Lead tax due diligence processes for M&A transactions and restructuring initiatives
- Manage complex tax provisions including FIN 48, ASC 740, and state apportionment studies
- Mentor junior associates while maintaining quality control on deliverables
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on tax-efficient business solutions
Qualifications
- CPA license with 3+ years of public accounting tax experience
- Advanced proficiency in tax software (ProSystem fx, Lacerte, or ONESOURCE)
- Expertise in multi-state tax compliance and international tax frameworks
- Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex tax regulations
- Proven track record of managing high-stakes client engagements
- Master's degree in Taxation or relevant professional certification
- Exceptional communication skills for client advisory interactions
